Qualium Systems has participated in conference “Outsource people 2013” that took place in Kharkiv on November 22-23
What is the difference between professionals and amateurs? The first answer comes to mind is “the skill level of professionals is higher”, and this is not the correct answer. History knows a lot of cases when amateurs have shown equal or higher skill than even certified and qualified professionals, this depends on amateurs personalities and talents, and also on the particular case when amateurs had chance to demonstrate their skills…
The true difference is in fact that for the professionals the process of improving of their skills is permanent. The moment when amateur realizes the importance of learning and skill improvement and starts doing this is in fact the first and the most important step at the road which leads from amateur to professional. “We do fine but we attempt to do better, so we learn more” – that is the slogan of true professionals. And what can be better for learning then sharing of experience with other professionals, when people gather, discuss multiple cases they have faced, describe solutions they have used?
From this point of view, the participation of Qualium Systems in conference “Outsource people 2013” that has taken place in Kharkiv on Nov 22-23 was important and logical event. That conference was the biggest one for the last year, more than 400 participants from different countries of Europe (Belarus, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Ukraine) arrived to discuss actual challenges of IT and share their experience with each other.
